Class 13 2023 - 2024

Hello and welcome to the class 13 page.  

We are all excited to be back in college for the summer term and have lots of activities planned.  

In class 13 we have the following staff supporting: 

Amy – Class teacher 

Carla – TA3  

Solomon – TA2 

Sarah – TA1 

In class 13 we follow the pathway 3 curriculum which runs alongside our ASDAN Accreditation – ‘Supporting Aspirations’. Our lessons have a focus on Preparation for Adulthood and will support the students to develop key skills in areas such as; communication, independent living, relationships, health and wellbeing.  

 Our theme for this term is ‘my healthy lifestyle’. The majority of our lessons have a practical element and all focus on linking to one another where possible, this approach supports the students to develop holistically and it promotes the best outcomes for each student, for example; in our reading session we will be learning key words and symbols of items in the kitchen, we will then work on transferring the skills to following instructions and identifying items during our cookery and food desensitisation sessions.
