Mrs Christy Townson
Hello and welcome back to our class page 🙂
The Summer Term is here! We are excited for the warmer weather so we can get outside into the Forest School garden; Woodblocks and our lovely Walled Garden, for lots of outdoor learning and to experiment with water and sand.
SWIMMING LESSONS: Class 5 will be swimming every Monday afternoon throughout the whole of the Summer Term with James; please remember to pack swim kit and towels!
This term we are:
-
-continuing to develop our attention through our Attention Autism 'bucket' sessions;
-
-learning how to co-regulate and self-regulate using the Zones of Regulation;
-
-building our communication in Intensive Interactions and Communication sessions;
-
-continuing to build number sense through practical activities, play and nature activities;
-
-learning about capacity through water-based activities and water sensory exploration;
- -we are experimenting in the outdoors, through many fun STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths) activities.
We love playful learning and sensory fun in Class 5!
